Current Local Issues
Some of the initiatives I consider critical to Chesterfield County, Virginia include:
- Abolition of the Proffers System
- Higher Standards for Public Education
- Tax Credits for Private Education & Home Schooling
- Removal of Barriers to Economic Development
- Reformation of the County's Land Use Policies
- Reduction of Real Estate Taxes
- Reduction of BPOL Taxes
- Efficiency Audit & Privitization Where Possible
